Professional experience
Chad Kiner joined BWE as a Senior Vice President in 2024. With more than two decades of Capital Markets placement experience, Mr. Kiner leads a team responsible for sourcing and structuring capital for income-producing commercial real estate asset classes nationwide. In his career, Mr. Kiner is responsible for transacting over $8 billion of commercial origination business.
Prior to joining BWE, Mr. Kiner was a Managing Director at Walker & Dunlop’s Columbus, Ohio based office. He joined Walker & Dunlop in January 2020 as part of the MSF Real Estate Capital acquisition and served as a co-head of the company’s Ohio Capital Markets practice who annually closed on $1.2 billion of transactions.
At MSF, Mr. Kiner served as Senior Vice President of loan production where he specialized in real estate debt and equity placement. Mr. Kiner assisted his clients in securing $250-500 million annually in debt and equity transactions. He joined MSF in 2010 as Assistant Vice President, focused on supporting upper management in the origination of new lending opportunities for property types, including multifamily, retail, industrial, office, mixed-use, and hospitality. Prior to joining MSF, Mr. Kiner was an asset and portfolio manager at Exel, Inc., where he managed 300 owned and/or leased industrial buildings in the continental United States. Previously, Mr. Kiner was on the project team at Developers Diversified Realty, working on a $2.2 billion acquisition of over 100 retail properties purchased from Benderson Development. In 2005, he joined Collateral Mortgage Capital where he participated in financing activities on industrial, office, retail and multifamily properties as a Real Estate Analysis/Assistant Loan Officer.
Mr. Kiner passions are his family, golfing, watching Ohio State football and giving back to his community.

Mr. Kiner graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in business with an emphasis in finance and real estate. Mr. Kiner furthered his education at the University of Florida where he earned a Master’s Degree in real estate.
