BWE Secures $133 Million Loan to Recapitalize Premier North Shore Multifamily Development in Skokie, Illinois

BWE, a national commercial and multifamily mortgage banking firm, announced today the successful placement of a $133,000,000 first mortgage loan to recapitalize The Henry at Harms Woods, a premier 294-unit Class A multifamily community featuring approximately 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space in Skokie, Illinois – 12 miles north of Chicago.

Daniel Rosenberg, Executive Vice President in BWE’s Chicago and South Florida offices, and Logan Petersmeyer, Assistant Vice President, arranged the financing on behalf of the sponsor – a joint venture between Tucker Development and Wingspan Development Group. Sourced from an institutional bank lender, the loan enables ownership to lower their cost of capital from the construction financing while maintaining the flexibility needed to complete lease-up and stabilize the asset.
