Ryan Stoll, National Director of Seniors Housing and Care at BWE, and Taylor Mokris, Senior Vice President of Seniors Housing and Care, led the financing effort on behalf of Harrison Street, one of the nation’s largest owners of seniors housing. Following a competitive marketing process, the sponsor selected a 10-year, fixed-rate loan with full-term interest-only payments from a national life insurance company.

Oakmont Santianna offers a full continuum of care across independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Originally developed and leased-up by Oakmont Management Group, the property opened in 2022 and will continue to be operated by Oakmont post-acquisition. Oakmont, the 17th largest senior housing operator in the United States, manages more than 90 communities nationwide and currently operates 23 properties in partnership with Harrison Street.
Situated in the heart of Carlsbad, Oakmont Santianna features unobstructed canyon views and provides residents with convenient access to upscale retail, dining, and healthcare services. Since stabilizing, the community has demonstrated strong performance, currently operating at 95%+ occupancy.
