Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital LLC (BWE), a national commercial and multifamily mortgage banking company, announced today that Eric McGlynn has joined the company as senior vice president and senior originator in the Chicago office. McGlynn brings two decades of experience in raising debt and equity capital to BWE.

Over his career, McGlynn has arranged more than $7 billion of debt and equity encompassing over 57,000 residential units and 17 million square feet of commercial space. His work has focused on structured finance transactions involving multiple tranches of capital for development/construction and bridge and portfolio acquisitions/recaps. His recent work has included equity and debt for a series of build-for-rent single-family and townhome projects.

Prior to joining BWE, McGlynn served as senior vice president and managing director at Walker & Dunlop in its Miami office. Before his role at Walker & Dunlop, he served as a director at Cohen Financial, also in Miami.
McGlynn earned his bachelor’s degree in management and finance from Babson College, where he graduated magna cum laude.
