Professional experience
Tom Turnage is a Senior Vice President and Loan Originator in the company’s Irvine, CA office. He is responsible for originating debt on commercial and multifamily properties including office, retail, industrial, apartment, mobile home park, self-storage, hospitality, and mixed-use assets.
Prior to joining BWE, Tom was Vice President with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, joining the company in 2006 under the Dwyer-Curlett & Co., banner. He was responsible for commercial real estate loan production for all major income-producing property types.
Tom has experience structuring transactions involving permanent financing (forward commitments and immediate fundings), construction/permanent financing, bridge and mezzanine loans, and equity capital for a variety of property types. Since 2006, he has been actively involved in the origination and closing of more than $1.25 billion in commercial real estate financing.
Education
Tom is a graduate of Columbia University and holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development. Additionally, Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California.
