Professional experience
Tom Kenny is an Executive Vice President at BWE and a leader in the West Coast region that typically originates $1.5 billion in total debt and equity on an annual basis.
Tom began his career in mortgage banking in 1988 with one of the pioneering correspondent mortgage banking firms in Los Angeles. He subsequently joined Dwyer-Curlett & Co., in September 1993 and became a partner in the firm in 1996 where he served as Executive Vice President until Dwyer-Curlett & Co., was acquired in November 2012.
Tom specializes in arranging senior debt, mezzanine financing, and joint venture equity on office buildings, industrial projects, shopping centers and multifamily projects. He has also secured debt for hotels, self-storage facilities, and manufactured housing developments. Tom has consistently been a top producer in the industry and has personally been involved in over $8 billion worth of debt, equity, and investment sales transactions during his 30-plus-year career.
