Professional experience

Tim Caffrey is an Assistant Vice President and Originator with BWE’s Chicago Office. Since moving to Chicago in 2015, Tim has been involved in commercial real estate finance. He is currently responsible for the sourcing and placement of debt and equity for all types of income-producing real estate, including industrial, office, retail, multifamily, manufactured housing, self-storage, medical office buildings, and hotels.

Prior to his current role, Tim worked in BWE’s Agency Analytics and Structuring team. In this role, he was responsible for the front-end underwriting and preliminary sizing of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac conventional loans originated nationwide. Before joining BWE, Tim spent three years with Freddie Mac’s Small Balance Loan program.
