Professional experience

Thomas Wiedeman is a Senior Vice President at BWE, where he specializes in providing financing solutions for owners and developers of multifamily and commercial properties throughout the Southeast. With over 11 years of mortgage banking experience, Thomas has a deep understanding of the capital markets that he uses to structure creative financing solutions. He has closed over $1.5 billion in commercial real estate loans and has developed strong relationships with a wide range of capital sources, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, life companies, asset managers, CMBS, debt funds, and banks.

Prior to joining BWE in 2023, Thomas was a Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital for 11 years in a similar role. He is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration. Thomas lives in Atlanta with his wife and two young children.
