Professional experience

Shippen has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate mortgage banking industry. He served as executive vice president at Capital Advisors, Inc., before the company combined businesses with BWE. Shippen has been very active in structuring both debt and equity transactions with a wide array of capital sources for both public and private clients.

He has been the recipient of numerous “High Producer” awards from multiple institutions recognizing his achievements as a seasoned loan originator. Over the years, Shippen has been associated with and served in various officer and board positions with numerous civic, social, and charitable organizations.
