Professional experience

Sara has 35 years of commercial loan origination experience, 31 of them in mortgage banking. She has worked on hundreds of transactions and has successfully arranged financing for more than $5 billion in debt. Her primary focus is multifamily finance, with expertise in permanent and construction/perm loans from life insurance companies, Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae, and CMBS platforms.

Sara co-founded Bellwether, the full-service commercial mortgage banking operation that was formed in 2008 and today has become BWE. Prior to BWE, Sara opened the Cincinnati office of Capstone Realty Advisors in April 1999. She managed Mellon Mortgage’s Cincinnati office from 1989-1999. Her career began in 1985 at First National Bank (now U.S. Bank) of Cincinnati.
