Professional experience

Sam has 7 years of experience in commercial real estate and structured finance at BWE. He has underwritten, structured, and closed over $2 billion in commercial loans while supporting senior members of the Cincinnati production team. Sam is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with borrowers and lenders as well as underwriting and structuring transactions. He has experience with development, acquisition, bridge, and permanent financing from lenders including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, life insurance companies, banks, and debt funds. Over the past 4 years, Sam has worked alongside Kyle Neumann as a consultant for businesses utilizing New Markets Tax Credit financing. Sam began his career at BWE in 2017 and has experience in financing multiple asset classes with an emphasis on multifamily, retail, industrial, office, and self storage.

Prior to joining BWE, Sam worked in an accounting/finance role at a family office while in college.
