Professional experience

Ryan serves as Vice President at BWE. He is responsible for the origination and placement of debt and equity structures throughout the United States and has over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. Ryan has played a key role in closing over $600 million in financing transactions which include development, acquisition, bridge, and permanent financing. His clients include the middle market, high-net-worth individuals, fund sponsors, and family offices.

Ryan started his career at AIG, specializing in underwriting commercial real estate focusing on environmental exposures. He later joined Cohen Financial in the Asset Advisory Group specializing in providing third-party analytical support to multiple lending platforms. While there, Ryan was responsible for the underwriting, financial analysis, credit analysis, due diligence, and asset summary preparation for debt and equity transactions. He worked with various lending platforms from the initial sizing of the transaction through the credit committee approval. Ryan was also responsible for loan surveillance for lenders.
