Professional experience

Rad is a Senior Vice President based in BWE’s Norfolk production office. He is responsible for providing financing solutions to owners of multifamily and commercial properties. Rad has extensive experience in all phases of loan origination including structuring, underwriting, investor, borrower interface, and coordination towards closing. Rad has been involved in the financing of more than 500 properties representing combined debt in excess of $3.5 billion. Property types financed include apartments, retail, office, industrial, hotel, and self-storage. Capital sources include life insurance companies, CMBS, banks, credit unions, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and Virginia Housing. His apartment financing experience includes market-rate, affordable, seniors, and student housing communities.

Prior to joining BWE in 2024, Rad was a Senior Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital having started his mortgage banking career at predecessor company Laureate Capital in 2005.

Rad lives in Norfolk with his wife and three children.
