Professional experience

Paul is Senior Vice President, based in BWE’s Birmingham production office. He is responsible for multiple roles in loan originations, including new client cultivation and maintaining existing client relationships. Specifically, Paul has conducted production efforts for the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac agency loan products, FHA/HUD, as well as various Life Companies and CMBS (conduit) loan products. In addition to focusing on loan production, he has also extensive experience with transaction sizing, underwriting, and closing procedures. His career has spanned over 25+ years in the mortgage banking industry and has closed over $2.5 billion in newly originated loans. Paul has experience structuring transactions involving permanent financing, construction/permanent financing, bridge, and mezzanine loans as well as equity capital for a variety of property types.
