Nicholas Alston is a Senior Vice President at BWE.

Prior to joining BWE, Nick Alston was vice president at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital where he was actively involved in commercial mortgage banking in San Diego since 1987. Prior to the Grandbridge acquisition in late 2012, Mr. Alston was a senior vice president, partner, and manager of the San Diego regional office of Dwyer-Curlett & Co., an 80-year-old commercial mortgage banking firm based in Southern California. He began his commercial mortgage banking career in San Diego and spent more than 21 years with Dwyer-Curlett & Co.

Nick has extensive experience with a variety of commercial property types, including multifamily, office industrial, and retail. He has also financed a number of medical office, laboratory, and hospitality properties in San Diego and other West Coast markets. He has experience with ground-up construction financing, joint ventures, and acquisition loans. Over the past two decades, he has arranged well over $1 billion in debt and equity for multifamily and commercial properties.
