Matt Stevens joined BWE as a Senior Vice President in 2025, where he specializes in originating commercial real estate loans. He provides tailored financing solutions across a wide range of property types, including multifamily, industrial, retail, office, and self-storage.

Prior to joining BWE, Matt built a distinguished career in commercial lending, with a proven track record of originating over $1 billion in loans. His extensive experience in multifamily financing includes more than 192 loans totaling over $913 million through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD programs. With over 20 years of expertise in lending, credit analysis, and strategic relationship management, Matt has established himself as a trusted advisor in the industry.

Based in San Diego, Matt brings deep insight into the commercial real estate market, with a strong focus on growth, market expansion, and lending capabilities. Beyond his success in real estate finance, he is also a dynamic public speaker and has served as the voice of UCLA Football for 25 years. In recognition of his broadcasting excellence, he was inducted into the Southern California Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.
