Professional experience

Kim Huffstutler currently serves as SVP, of seniors housing & care at BWE, advising on the end-to-end transaction process for all seniors loans. Kim is responsible for the execution of seniors mortgage loans, including, agency, HUD and other debt placement opportunities, for BWE’s seniors housing & care group nationally.

With 12 years of commercial mortgage banking experience, Kim was most recently vice president at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital and was responsible for structuring, underwriting, and transacting over $1.7 billion of seniors housing & care loans with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and other lending sources. Kim has a tremendous reputation within the seniors industry and with the agencies as being able to manage even the most complex seniors transactions efficiently and with a certainty of execution few can match.

Kim resides in Mobile, AL with her husband, Ken, and her two children, Harlan (6) and Jake (3). Kim is a member of the Rising Leaders Program through the American Seniors Housing Association and participates on Fannie Mae’s DE&I Scholarships/Partnerships Subcommittee. Kim serves as a board member of Local Goodness, which benefits the Pediatric Emergency Center at USA Health’s Children’s and Women’s Hospital.

Education

Kim holds a B.S. in Real Estate Finance from University of Alabama and MBA from University of Alabama.
