Professional experience

Kevin is an Executive Vice President and heads BWE’s Dallas office. He has over 24 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and specializes in loan originations for both market rate and affordable multifamily properties with an emphasis on FHA/HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Private Placement, and USDA. Kevin has deep expertise in transactions involving Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and properties with affordable housing restrictions. Throughout his career, Kevin has been responsible for structuring and closing over $2.5 billion in total volume.

Before joining BWE in 2010, Kevin served as Senior Vice President at KeyBank Real Estate Capital, where he managed lending across a six-state region in the southern U.S. His experience includes originating a variety of loan products, such as CMBS, Agency, life company, pension fund, and credit tenant lease financing. Earlier in his career, he worked as an asset manager at ORIX Capital Markets, where he supervised a broad range of servicing transactions.
