Josh Boehling is a Senior Vice President in the Orange County Office who joined BWE in 2017 and has been involved in more than $2 billion in multifamily and commercial real estate financings during his career. Josh’s primary role at BWE includes maintaining existing client relationships as well as sourcing new debt and equity transactions for multifamily and commercial assets.
Successful capitalizations from initial underwriting to structuring to closing include permanent loans (along with forward commitments), bridge loans, construction loans, new market tax credit loans, mezzanine loans/preferred equity, and joint venture equity.
Properties financed include multifamily, Manufactured Housing Community (MHC), industrial, self-storage, office, retail, and hospitality.
Capital sources include long-standing insurance company relationships, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, pension funds, debt funds, banks, private lending ventures, and CMBS lenders.
Josh started his mortgage banking career in Southern California at Dwyer-Curlett & Co. and prior to BWE served as Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital in Newport Beach, CA.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and economics from the University of Southern California – Marshall School of Business.
