John is based in Dallas, TX. He is responsible for originating commercial real estate loans with a specialization in affordable housing and market rate multifamily. John is focused in the Southwestern and Southeastern regions. He has over 8 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.

Before his role as an originator, John served as the Director of Affordable Housing Analytics leading a team of production analysts supporting one of the largest dedicated affordable housing mortgage banking production teams in the country.

Prior to joining BWE, John was a Production Analyst at KeyBank Real Estate Capital where he was responsible for structuring Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, life insurance companies, pension funds, and CMBS loans for multifamily properties throughout the central and western US.
