Professional experience

Joe Solomos is a Senior Vice President and Loan Originator at BWE. His primary focus is on providing top-tier debt financing solutions for all asset classes of commercial real estate including multifamily, retail, industrial, self-storage, hospitality, office, and mixed-use properties, by utilizing direct relationships with a variety of Lenders, such as life insurance companies, commercial banks and credit unions, pension funds, private equity, and other capital sources. BWE is also a licensed lender for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and USDA multifamily programs. 

Joe and his team combine their wealth of experience in all facets of commercial real estate to provide their clients with expert analysis and trusted advice from a holistic perspective, rather than a transactional approach. This deep commitment to clients and partners, along with access to BWE’s broad, national platform have resulted in long-term relationships whose value extends beyond a single deal. Since joining BWE in 2017, Joe has been directly involved in the origination and underwriting of over $500 million in closed transactions, with experience across the capital stack. 

Prior to joining BWE, Joe spent more than 10 years at an international toy company where he became Senior Account Manager, leading all aspects of some of its largest accounts, including Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. While there, he helped increase retail sales by over 300% for one of Disney’s key product lines, as well as developing over 80 products brought to market.
