Professional experience

Jimmy has more than 10 years of experience in commercial mortgage banking. He began his career in 2006 with Dwyer-Curlett & Co. Prior to joining BWE, he was vice president at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital.

During his career, Jimmy has arranged financing for a variety of real estate investors, ranging from publicly traded REITs to funds to regional and local developers to high-net-worth individuals and family trusts. He has extensive experience in the origination, structuring, placement, and closing of a number of income-producing property types, including multifamily, industrial, office, medical office, retail, mixed-use, hospitality, marinas, and self-storage. He has executed capital structures that include permanent financing (forward commitments and immediate fundings), construction financing, bridge financing, and mezzanine financing. As a compliment to his expertise in debt financing, he also has experience in structuring joint venture opportunities and preferred equity.
