Professional experience

Jason has over 21 years of experience in commercial and multifamily mortgage banking. During his career, Jason has originated and closed more than 170 transactions totaling over $2.125 billion in debt and JV equity capital. Prior to joining BWE, Jason served as Vice President of Originations for Walker & Dunlop and Berkadia (formerly Capmark Finance and GMAC Commercial Mortgage) where he sourced and closed multifamily and commercial real estate loans with agency, life company, bridge, and CMBS debt.

Additional experiences include spending two years (2009-2011) at Hunt Investment Management (formerly Capmark Investments, which was Capmark’s equity investment company) where he asset managed a 17-property multifamily portfolio totaling over 3,500 apartment units located in Southern California. Additionally, Jason spent one year at Sares-Regis Group where he worked on the multifamily investment team.
