Professional experience

Donya is a Vice President and member of BWE’s Loan Production Team in Louisville, serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana. She is responsible for originating, underwriting, and closing loans on all types of commercial real estate including multifamily, industrial, retail, office, self-storage, hospitality, senior housing, manufactured housing, and mixed-use assets.

Since joining BWE in 2020, she has completed over $500 million in commercial real estate transactions throughout the country utilizing Life Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, Wall Street-based Capital Market Firms (CMBS), Government Agencies including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA/HUD, Private Debt Funds, and Commercial Banks and Credit Unions.

Prior to joining BWE, Donya spent 30 years as a Certified Public Accountant serving in both public accounting with Ernst & Young and industry accounting including various positions in construction, manufacturing, and commercial real estate.  Most recently, she served as CFO for a commercial real estate developer for 18 years, overseeing the strategic placement of over $300 million in construction and permanent debt including Bank, CMBS, and Life Company executions across a diverse portfolio.
