Professional experience

David Collie joined BWE in 2026 as a Senior Vice President, where he is responsible for the sourcing and placement of debt and equity for all types of income-producing real estate including industrial, office, retail, multifamily, medical office, and hotels. Mr. Collie has a deep knowledge of the life company lending market and prides himself on exceeding the expectations of his clients. In addition to his life company relationships, David maintains capital relationships with an array of sources including banks, CMBS, debt funds and the GSEs.

Prior to joining BWE, David spent eight years at Walker & Dunlop, where he served as Managing Director and was responsible for spearheading the Capital Markets group’s growth in the Atlanta area in addition to overseeing his team’s origination activities. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, David was a principal and board member at iCap Realty Advisors, where he represented an integral part of the firm’s growth and development.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Mr. Collie graduated from Vanderbilt University and resides in Atlanta, Georgia. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family and most any outdoor pursuits.
