Chad Williams joined BWE in October 2020 as a Senior Vice President and played a crucial role as a founding member of the La Jolla and Phoenix offices. He leads the La Jolla office and is responsible for originating debt and equity solutions through life companies, banks, debt funds, HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac financing.

Chad possesses a comprehensive understanding of different asset types, with notable expertise in manufactured housing, multifamily, and build-for-rent projects. His involvement in BWE’s direct agency lending platforms allows him to provide clients with tailored financing solutions from both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Furthermore, Chad’s proficiency in arranging equity, bridge, and construction financing has proven invaluable for his investor clients, enabling them to achieve their goals successfully.

Throughout his commercial real estate career, Chad has demonstrated remarkable skill in capital placements, having originated more than $3 Billion in debt and equity throughout his career. Before joining BWE, Chad held the position of Senior Director at Berkadia Commercial Real Estate in the mortgage banking division where he led Berkadia’s San Diego office. During his tenure, he facilitated business transactions totaling over $1.5 billion and led his team in executing agency initiatives. Chad also made significant contributions to the Berkadia Agency Advisory group, where he helped shape the company’s best practices and develop innovative client solutions.
