Professional experience

Cathy has over 25 years of commercial real estate finance, debt/equity origination, and underwriting experience. She is responsible for the origination and placement of debt and equity structures for development, acquisition, and permanent financing throughout the United States. Her clients include middle-market investors, developers, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices. Cathy has a proven track record in placing debt for her clients with such lenders as FHA, agencies, life insurance companies, CMBS lenders, banks, credit unions, and finance companies. She has extensive experience with all types of commercial real estate assets, including multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, and all levels of senior housing/healthcare.

Prior to joining BWE, Cathy served as Managing Director at Cohen Financial/Truist originating debt, and was a Director of Portfolio Management with Lowe Enterprises Investment Management in Los Angeles, CA. She oversaw investments in commercial real estate portfolios valued at over $785 million including office, industrial, retail, multifamily, mixed-use, and high-end master-planned resort communities. She began her real estate career with CB Commercial Real Estate Group as an Accounting Payroll Manager and later as the Financial Reporting Supervisor/Controller.
