Professional experience
Brian is a Vice President at BWE and has over 25 years in commercial real estate finance, origination, and underwriting.
He served as a Managing Director at Phillips Realty Capital before the company combined businesses with BWE. Since 2001 Brian has underwritten and closed approximately $3 billion of commercial real estate loans across all property types including multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hospitality, and ground-up construction developments. Previously, he was employed at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their real estate valuation division providing commercial real estate appraisals, market research, and financial analysis.

Brian is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) and holds a BA from the Pamplin School of Business. He was a member of the VT Soccer Team.
