Professional experience

Brett Levy is a Senior Vice President at BWE where he structures debt and equity for regional and national real estate companies, family offices, and international investors. Brett has an acuity for multifamily lending and has helped grow the firm’s Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae business from approximately $175 million in annual production in 2010 to over $2 billion in 2018. Overseeing that much growth required Brett to hire and train a staff of analysts, provide corporate training to build institutional knowledge, and foster relationships with the national production and underwriting teams at both Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. As an advocate for your deal, his product expertise and relationships will provide a certainty of execution.

Prior to joining BWE, Brett was a production associate for Ohio Savings Bank / AmTrust where he underwrote and helped originate condominium construction loans and gained invaluable experience working on the Bank’s real estate owned and special assets portfolio during the 2008 and 2009 real estate downturn.

In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Brett spends time advising private family offices on real estate investments and has sat on non-profit boards including ORT and Hebrew Free Loans and is a graduate of the Mandel Leadership Symposium sponsored by the Cleveland Jewish Federation. Brett lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife Beth, 2 daughters, and dog Barkley. He likes playing guitar and hanging with his family.

Education

Brett received his MBA from the Case Western Reserve Weatherhead School of Business in 2012.
